NY Writers Coalition Inc. (NYWC) is one of the largest community-based creative writing programs in the world. When the organization came to us about redesigning their outdated website, a big part of that project would be improving the user experience of their workshop database.
With the growing demand for their services, they needed a website that could effectively highlight the other services. Although the current website addressed each service, it lacked the information and navigation parents and students needed to find the best resources for them.
The content for NY Writers Inc. was much different from the other association websites. It was not only about mentioning its services or products but was about explaining the process in a clear way and letting the visitors know how they work. Even after creating a proper plan we needed to make many changes while executing it, to create a perfect website.
The new NY Writers Coalition website is a much focused, welcoming user experience, with clear paths to find critical workshops, resources, and in-person community events.
Whether the visitor is looking for writers, workshops or to make a donation, the new site structure and navigation make it smooth and seamless. The enhanced imagery contributes to the online authenticity and credibility of this trusted organization.
