Project Scope

Washington Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that helps families build and improve places to call home in Franklinton, LA. They believe affordable housing plays a critical role in strong and stable communities.

DigitalChores was hired as a development agency to design a new website and improve their digital presence.

Challenges

When COVID drastically reduced physical interactions, Washington Habitat needed to upgrade and expand their services online. They came to DigitalChores to help create a website with a great structure, navigation with a focus on making it easier for family to apply for housing.

Solution

Washington Habitat has a striking branding that follows the national habitat for humanity style. We had a great opportunity with the new website design to help them create more space to display their authenticicity and impact in the community. Big bold headings and vivid orange accents draw the eye to key content, and further into the habitat story.

Final Results

Washington Habitat’s new website is a significantly more meaningful experience and visually supports their impact to the community. Visitors are immediately engaged by call to actions to their housing services and how to get involved with the organization. With the custom WordPress installation, Washington Habitat now offers a clear digital donation needs, volunteer management, and a housing interest form to allow families to quickly get in touch with them.
