The ParkTree Community Health Center (PCHC) is a federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) providing comprehensive primary care medical services to the underserved population of Pomona, CA, and the surrounding areas.
ParkTree was founded in 1995 as the “Pomona Clinic Coalition” by Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center and other local healthcare providers in response to the burgeoning indigent and working poor population in the eastern end of Los Angeles County and to address the region’s lack of adequate public health infrastructure.
PCHC worked with DigitalChores to:
Redesigning and developing the PCHC website. The unresponsive website lacked brand consistency and was difficult to use as a result of using outdated technology. Website content updates were always an uphill battle. Finding information was confusing for patients as the website pages and the site architecture was not clear.
DigitalChores created a fully responsive website with improved ease of login and updates by the site administrators including special training sessions to educate the PHCH team members on the new backend.
Additionally, brand identity and cohesiveness were improved with an updated site design, refreshing content, and logos, as well as providing a more aesthetic look and feel to the website.
PCHC increased its Latino patient population reach by 25% month-on-month. Easy access to the patient portal provided the ideal and easy way for patients to manage their accounts online.
The new PCHC website is a significantly stronger user experience, with improved navigation and content.
The vast amount of information about each service offering as well as new services like Telehealth makes it easy for the site visitors to understand exactly what they can expect from the organization.
Accessibility tools are now available to provide an equitable website for all. DigitalChores continues to work with ParkTree on an ongoing basis to maintain the website.
“The website looks amazing… your expertise and drive to benefit our organization and community we serve is incredibly appreciated. – David Kadar (CEO – ParkTree Community Health Center)”
